Clarion Can Communication Interface Module

Overview
When an OEM Clarion infotainment head unit is retrofitted or installed into a non-compatible or lower-trim vehicle variant, the head unit commonly fails to receive telemetry from the vehicle network, resulting in the message: “Vehicle Data Not Available.”
This CAN Communication Module is designed to bridge this communication gap. It connects directly to the vehicle’s instrument cluster (odometer) CAN lines—tapping into the vehicle’s CAN-High and CAN-Low signals—and translates the data protocols directly to the Clarion system.
Important Disclaimer & Compatibility Scope

• Handshake Guarantee Only: This interface is engineered and guaranteed to establish a valid CAN protocol handshake between the vehicle’s CAN bus network and the Clarion system.
• Telemetry & Screen Display Limitations: We do not guarantee that 100% of vehicle parameters or telemetry screens will be displayed or fully activated. Depending on the car’s specific variant, ECU firmware version, model year, and sensor configurations, the head unit may display all, partial, or limited data fields.
• By purchasing this product, you acknowledge that feature display variance depends strictly on your car’s underlying ECU capabilities and Clarion software configuration.

Wiring & Harness Architecture
The interface module incorporates three primary wire groups:

1. Power Supply Leads: Dedicated 12V DC input lines (Operating Voltage: 12V DC) to power the CAN decoding processor.
2. CAN Input Leads: Signal wiring intended to tap directly into the vehicle’s odometer/instrument cluster CAN-High and CAN-Low lines.
3. Clarion Data Output Connector: Pre-wired 12-pin dedicated connector plug that connects straight into the rear communication port of the Clarion infotainment unit.

• Strictly No Returns / Non-Refundable: Due to the custom integration and DIY retrofitting nature of automotive electronic components, this module is sold under a strict No Return, No Replacement, and No Refund policy.
• Data Display Variance: Incomplete, partial, or missing vehicle telemetry screens on the head unit do not constitute a hardware defect and are not eligible grounds for a return or refund.
• Warranty Seal Notice: The module carries security and warranty seals. Any tampering, removal, or breaking of the warranty seal immediately voids all operational support.
